Epologue:
There is a place ruled by magical beings. That place is called Kingdom of Geolia. Ruled by King and Queen, Taf and Heleina Montoruge. They have a daughter, the Princess Amadora. She was kind hearted and had chesnut hair that waved. Her eyes were a violet color and glowed like grapes. In the Kingdom Geolia the Princess serves as a war hero. She and the daughters of other nobles are those who protect the country because of a special magic that is passed through the blood of royal women. This magic is called Donata. But the only enemy that this magic is used on is called, Cercatore di Sangue. They are magical beings who drink the magical power of other beings to live, though they can eat food, they will eventually die off. They are magical beings who use a dark magic called consume and turned it even darker. To the beings of Geolia magical power is their blood. Earl D'Angelo led the raids on magical kingdoms. D'Angelo had black hair and red eyes like every Cercatore di Sangue but in his eyes they showed softness. But after one raid on Geolia and mass defeat on both sides, war had broken loose. Princess Amadora and her comrades, Duchess Carmilla, daughter of the minister Sienna, and daughter of the head judge Paola, they all shared the power of Donata. They as well have their own powers, Amaora controled life energy, Carmilla controlled air, Sienna controled water, and Paola controled rock. They all headed out to battle an army of Cercatore di Sangue on their own. And that is where our story begins.

Chapter 1
"Father, I am about to attack the Cercatore di Sangue base. How are the victim's treatment coming along?" Amadora asked her father through a link orb.
"The victim's are healing although several have passed but I hope you do not fail." Taf replied, worried.
"Then I shall take my leave and discuss with Carmilla, Sienna, and Paola." And she shut the link down.
"Princess!" Carmilla, Sienna, and Paola called and kneeled as she emerged from her tent at the base.
"Raise your heads." She told them, "I will not accept being respected when I am expected to take hundreds of lives."
"Princess, it is out duty as the weilders of Donata." Paola said. She controled rock and yet she was the most petite but had the biggest sense of responsibilty.
"Princess Amadora, I understand you do not like war and would give up all your magic if you could but Paola is right, four lives lost is nothing compared to the whole kingdom." Sienna told her. She controlled water so she was soft and gentle. She had silver hair and white skin and gray eyes. Her beauty was as gentle as she was.
"We all understand you feelings about this but I honestly think we should consider the common good before our own beliefs, with us we cannot choose our own paths as they have been chosen for us." Carmilla implied. She was the eldest and she was a newly wed. The raid had occured during her honeymoon. She was feeling the most heartbroken because she had to be away from her husband do go to war. Amadora pitied her.
"Yes I know. My idea for our attack is for me to go and distract them as you go kill them. Try to keep Donata as quiet as possible. I will give you the signal when I think they have noticed me." Amadora told them.
"Your Highness! We cannot have you do something so dangerous!" Paola argued, "Have me do it!"
"I am the princess. They will try to hold me captive so you three can remain unharmed." Amadora explained.
After they discussed the final details Amadora headed to the Cercatore di Sangue base to distract them.
At the base she looked for D'Angelo. She knew if she ended his life the distraction would be large enough to keep Carmilla, Paola, and Sienna safe. She went into the largest, grandest tent. D'Angelo was asleep in his cot. His hair was out of its usual ponytail. It was stick straight and was shoulder length. His long eyelashes made his face baby like as he slept. He slept shirtless. Amadora stood above him in a stance ready to kill. As soon as Donata was cast D'Angelo jumped up and grabbed her wrists and flipped her onto his cot and pinned her down. His eyes tried to look fierce but there was still gentleness.
"Unhand me!" Amadora struggled.
"Princess Amadora, heh. I should have expected you were the one sent to hunt me down. Is King Taf to afraid to face me?" D'Angelo mocked. Amadora just struggled. "You know I am quite hungry..." D'Angleo said. Amadora's eyes grew wide and her body began shaking. Tears overflowed from her eyes.
"No..." She said with a shaky, quiet voice, "I'm only sixteen... I--I don't want to die!" She sobbed and sobbed.
D'Angelo stared at her wide-eyed himself. He didn't know how fragile the Princess was. He could not bring himself to harm her. He let her wrists go. She curled up in his cot and sobbed hard. He stood up and pulled the silk blanket over her to let her let go of her tears. He walked over and put on his shirt and cape. Then he walked to his food trunk and pulled out strawberries and cream. He set them next to the cot.
"Princess, since you are on my base, you are now my prisoner." D'Angelo said and walked out of his tent.
Amadora picked up a strawberry and ate it.
"It's sweet." She said smiling and wiping her eyes.
Amadora walked out of the tent to find D'Angelo standing right outside.
"Oi, your my prinsoner. I can't let you be weilding Donata 'round here." He said, "Drink this. It's gonna nullify you magic powers, not completely wipe them away. But make them low enough that the worst harm you can cause is a broken limb." He hand her a clear mixture that smelled like moldy cheese.
"How can i drink something so vulgar?!" Amadora demanded. D'Angelo grabbed the drink and took a gulp and kept it in his mouth. He pressed his lips onto Amadora's. He forced her mouth open and spit the potion down her throat. When he was done she coughed hard and then passed out. D'Angelo picked her up and took her back into his tent. He undressed her and put her in more comfortable clothes, a black lace dress and a black bodice. He set her on his cot and gazed at her. The skin around her eyes were still a little red from her tears but her rosy cheeks glowed and her long lashes made her look innocent and calm. He brushed her hair back and pulled the blanket up her again.
When she woke up she noticed she was not in her armor. And she felt weak and drained, a common affect when most of you magic power was gone. She tried to send her signal to Carmilla, Sienna, and Paola but she had barely any magic left to do even that. Her stomach growled.
"Hungry?" D'Angelo came up behind her presenting a plate of bread, grapes, roast boar, and wine.
She took the plate and gingerly took a bite of the bread. Then she looked up at D'Angelo and remembered he had taken her first kiss. She flushed madly.
"What's wrong?!" D'Angelo demended, worried, when her face turned bright red. He pressed his forehead to hers. When Amadora saw his face so close she fell back and her food fell all over her.
"Hey! You made me spill my food!" Amadora screeched.
"I was worried about you!" D'Angelo defended.
"You were worried?" Amadora whispered.
"I don't know but around you I feel worried and my heart starts beating faster. Like I can't leave you alone!" D'Angelo told her.
Amadora stared at him and gasped.
Chapter 2:
The fire cackled especially loudly that night. Amadora sat well away from D'Angelo's men who had returned from a hunting trip. D'Angelo laughed and drank with his men but always turned to look at the girl who sat, arms wrapped around her knees. Amadora felt sleepy as the night grew later and later. She soon fell asleep on the ground by the fire.
"Oi Earl D'Angelo. This woman yours?" A rather large Cercatore di Sangue said tossing his beer mug at her head. D'Angelo was enraged at how he treated her.
"Antioco! Do not touch her. Do not look at her. Do not think about her. She is my prisnor and disobey me and I will personally send you to hell." D'Angelo said his red eyes glowing, a common affect when the Cercatore di Sangue are truly enraged.
"Calm down D'Angelo! I wasn't gonna do anything to the bitch!" Antioco said arms up.
"Everyone dismissed! Go to your barracks." D'Angelo said picking up Amadora.
"D-don't drink my magical power... Help me, D'Angelo... I'm scared." Amadora murmured in her sleep and stirring a little in D'Angelo's arms. Her head leaned against his chest. D'Angelo stared at the sleeping princess. Her soft pink lips moved slightly as she muttered D'Angelo's name over and over. He leaned his face toward hers until they were inches apart and could feel her warm, sweet breath. He couldn't resist and gently pressed his cold white lips against her warm soft lips. Amadora was shocked by the cold and awoke to see D'Angelo kissing her. She gasped but D'Angelo kept kissing her. Her eyes fluttered shut again and she kissed D'Angelo back. She wrappped her arms around his neck and D'Angelo held her tighter. He kept kissing her as he carried her to his bed. D'Angelo put her on his bed still kissing her and then he reluctantly pulled away.
"Good night, Amadora." D'Angelo said.
"D'Angelo?" Amadroa asked, her cheeks red.
"Yes?"
"I'm cold." Amadora said, "Lay down with me please." D'Angelo shook his head and went to sleep in a chair. Soon he was asleep and Amadora sat up in bed. She saw him shivering and took the silk blanket to him. She fell asleep next the the chair with her head on his knee.
She awoke to a loud noise. It was like a crash, like a rock falling to the groun. It was before dusk and the sky was still dark.
"Princess! Princess! Princess Amadora!!" Paola called.
D'Angelo woke as well. He walked to the entrance of the tent with her. She stood behind him and looked out to see what was happening. Sienna, Carmilla, and Paola had come to attack. She couldn't send a signal or message that she was safe! And they thought she was in danger! Sienna saw Amadora and D'Angelo standing in front of her. Sienna swiftly cast Donata and shot it at D'Angelo's direction.
"No!" Amadora yelled and she lept in front of D'Angelo and was hit by Donata.
"Amadora!" D'Angelo yelled at the bleeding girl on the ground. She had been hit in her stomach and was bleeding heavily. Her eyes were glazed over and blood spilled out her mouth. She had lost so much blood she could not even see anymore, except a blurry outline of D'Angelo's face. She raised a shaky hand to D'Angelo's cheek then it dropped. D'Angelo's eyes filled with tears and he held her head to his shoulder and sobbed quietly.
"Sienna! What happened to Princess Amadora!?" Carmilla demanded.
Sienna was on the ground with her arms around her face and head and she was muttering, "Ihittheprincess!IhitherwithDonata!She'sgoingtodiediediediedie... ALL BECAUSE OF ME!!!!!" Sienna lept up and grabbed Carmilla and Carmilla shoved her to the ground.
"Sienna! Calm yourself! If we can treat her we may save her!" She stomped to D'Angelo. "You, Cercatore di Sangue! What have you done to the princess! She wouldn't protect the likes of you!"
"She was the woman I loved!" D'Angelo exclaimed loudly with tears down his face, " I loved her but that vile creature over there killed her!" He pointed at Sienna screaming on the ground herself. Just the Paola walked over to see what had happened. She had been holding off D'Angelo's men.
"YOU DISGUSTING CREATURE WHY DID YOU KILL THE PRINCESS?!" Paola yelled at D'Angelo kicking him in the head and grabbing Amadora from his arms.
"I will die with her. Kill me." D'Angelo said bowing his head.
"D-D'Angelo..." Amadora whispered.
"PRINCESS!" Paola exclaimed.
"Let me... see D'Angelo..."
D'Angelo rushed up and carried her like a princess, he head lolled back and her body felt limp but she was breathing.
"D'Angelo..." Amadora whispered. D'Angelo's eyes overflowed and he leaned in and kissed her. He released half his magical life force into her mouth and her wound began to close. He drew back to see Amadora's head lifted and looking back at him with her violet eyes.
"I love you, too." D'Angelo said back to her.
"Let's go." Carmilla said to Sienna and Paola.
"But Duchess!" Paola argued.
"We need to report this to King Taf!" Sienna whispered.
"I know." Carmilla said with anger. And the three marched off leaving Amadora with D'Angelo.
Chapter 3
Amadora awoke in D'Angelo's bed. He was right next to her he was undressed. Amadora got up and dressed herself. She decided to make D'Angelo a meal. She boiled quail eggs and bread. Then she poked her wrist with a needle and squeezed out some of her blood, her magical power. She squeezed the blood onto his meal and then went to wake him up.
"D'Angelo, D'Angelo." Amadora whispered nudging him. He woke up and pulled her down onto him.
"Are you better?" D'Angelo whispered into her hair.
"Yes I am. I feel like nothing happened last night!" Amadora said, "I made you some food. Why don't you eat up?"
D'Angelo took one bite of the food then he looked over at her. "Did you put your magical power into this?"
"Yes, I wanted you to have your full energy." Amadora said rubbing her wrist. D'Angelo held her wrist and kissed it slightly.
"You didn't need to do that. I don't need to feed so often as the other Cercatore di Sangue. I'll show you how long I can last."
"Don't push yourself." Amadora said, slightly worried.
D'Angelo taught Amadora how to weid a sword. Being a war hero was in her blood so she learned quickly.
"Good! Now lunge! Ok try again, good, good! Flip over his sword. And... pin him!" D'Angelo instructed Amadora as she sparred with one of his men. Her blad was at his neck and he was on the ground.
"Nice, Princess." The Cercatore di Sangue said as she helped him up.
"Not bad yourself." Amadora panted wiping the sweat off her cheeks. Amadora had spent a week with D'Angelo and his army and she was unaware of what Carmilla, Paola, and Sienna were telling the King and Queen.
* * *
"King Taf!" Carmilla said, "Princess Amadora has committed treason!"
"What?! Absurd!" King Taf bellowed.
"It's true, Your Majesty. She has given her heart to a Cercatore di Sangue. The Earl in fact!" Paola claimed.
"My daughter? In love? With a Cercatore di Sangue?!" Queen Heleina gasped.
"Our sincerest apologies. If we had taken her role as being a distraction none of this would have happened. We take full responsibility." Paola said bowing her head.
"That Cercatore di Sangue must have brainwashed her! She knows better! Duchess Carmilla, Sienna, Paola! Take my men and seize their base and bring her back. Do anything it takes. Kill her lover!" King Taf bellowed.
"Yes!" Carmilla, Paola, and Sienna said leaving the throne room.
* * *
"I got the smith to make you a sword." D'Angelo told Amadora.
"Really!? Thank you!" Amadora squealed hugging him.
"It's going to be made of silver, the hilt will be pink pearl carved with designs of flowers. The guard is made of diamonds weaved into an intricate design. The edge will be sharpened every month." D'Angelo described.
"It sounds beautiful..." Amadora whispered.
The next day they went to pick up her sword. She admired it, she kept it strapped on her back in the sheathe all day.
"Are you going to sleep with it too?" D'Angelo joked.
"It's my first gift from you!" Amadora giggled.
D'Angelo blushed and looked away,=.
A month passed and D'Angelo still had not fed on any magical power. He was growing weaker. He was so weak now Amadora had to help him sit up. She told him many times he could bite her but he wouldn't do it.
"D'Angelo, please feed!" Amadora begged.
"No! You are disgusted by the feeding habits of the Cercatore di Sangue. I'll adjust don't worry." D'Angelo muttered.
Another 3 weeks passed and Carmilla, Sienna, and Paola were quickly getting to the camp with fully trained men.
"Men! We will arrive within three days!" Carmilla announced. The men cheered.
D'Angelo slept most of the day with Amadora next to him. He woke in cold sweats and shivers. Amadora nursed him, she fed him, bathed him, and even dressed him. He was weaker than an infant. Then in three days one of D'Angelo's men called out, "D'ANGELO! GEOLIA IS ATTACKING!"
Amadora rushed out of D'Angelo's tent and looked outside. Hundreds, thousands, of her father's men were attacking the Cercatore di Sangue. Many already lay dead.
Amadora kissed D'Angelo on the forehead and grabbed her sword. She fought her own people. The men held back, not wanting to injure the princess. Paola noticed Amadora attacking the men and, reluctantly, cast a binding spell on her. She screamed as her arms were wretched behind her. Her cry of pain awoke D'Angelo. He heard the battle outside and his eyes glowed a fierce red. He struggled outside, he was delusional, having not eaten in two months. He was intoxicated with the need to feed. He hissed and lunged at Carmilla. Carmilla held her shield out and blocked his attack. He snarled. He was about to bite her when Amadora wailed.
"D'Angelo! Are you hungry?" She struggled out of Paola's magic, "Come here, I'm willing to let you bite me, come one." She coaxed. D'Angelo crawled to her and sniffer her neck. "Come on... I want you to bite me."
"Princess! If he bites you you'll die!" Sienna yelled.
"I told you not to push yourself, D'Angelo." Amadora said pulling down her lace collar. He sank his teeth into her slender neck. She wrapped her arms around him and he wrapped his arms around her. "I love you." Amadora whispered.
I feel... warm... D'Angelo thought. They embraced each other.
Amadora collapsed. Sienna and Paola hastily took her away. D'Angelo had fainted as well. Amadora was brought to her parents. When she awoke her mother was nursing her and putting a cold towel to her head.
"Mother!" Amadora exclaimed.
"Shh... Hush, child. The Cercatore di Sangue brain washed you. Carmilla was to kill him. Don't worry they won't come again." Queen Heleina whispered.
"No!" Amadora rushed up only to fall back down.
"Rest child."
"They can't kill D'Angelo!" Amadora cried. King Taf walked into the room.
"Very well. He will live and you will be our spy, report to us their movements and make sure they have your trust. we will kill all of them... except Earl D'Angelo." King Taf ordered.
"But I can't betray D'Angelo!" Amadora wailed.
"Its double agent or D'Angelo's death."
"But fa-"
"No buts! No go to the camp, report the condition once you arrive."
"D'Angelo, please feed!" Amadora begged.
"No! You are disgusted by the feeding habits of the Cercatore di Sangue. I'll adjust don't worry." D'Angelo muttered.

Chapter 4
Amadora walked slowly to the camp. not wanting to see D'Angelo. But she knew, to protect him from death... she must turn against him. She curled into a tiny ball beneath a tree and sobbed. she knew once D'Angelo found out about her betrayal he would not love her anymore.
"Amadora!" D'Angelo called to her when she emerged in the horizon.
"D'Angelo..." the sight of him caused her light-headedness, from her remorse. She faltered and D'Angelo sped to her. She fell onto his chest.
"Amadora, what happened?" D'Angelo asked holding her waist tightly to him. She just sobbed into his chest. He pulled her over to the shade of a tree and sat down with her. He laid on her lap and played with her hair.
"D'Angelo... D'Angelo... D'Angelo" She sobbed, he tears falling on his face.
"I'm not going anywhere." He said reaching p to her cheek. She held his hand to her face.
"D'Angelo?" Amadora asked after sometime, still under the tree.
"Yes?" D'Angelo replied.
"I bet you didn't fill yourself up completely..." She murmered blushing, "Here" She exposed her neck. D'Angelo sat up eyes just a simmering red. He licked her neck and gently nibbled it. She gasped and her face became flushed. Then he sank his fangs into her neck. He held her head to him. Amadora could hear her magical power being sucked. D'Angelo pulled away, blood dripping from his mouth. Amadora put her hand on his cheek. The collar on her shirt was bright red with blood. D'Angelo's red eyes returned to it's dark black color. Amadora looked at D'Angelo and began sobbing again.
"Amadora, as your lover, tell me what happened. I won't judge you." D'Angelo said holding her.
"I can't..." Amadora whispered. D'Angel sighed and held her against him and walked to his tent with her.
* * *
"Father, they are still repairing the damages from the ambush. But D'Angelo is planning to..." Amadora paused, unsure of telling her father about D'Angelo's plan.
"Princess!" King Taf bellowed in anger, "You will tell me! They are vile creatures! They must be killed!" Amadora said she will finish her report later and she dragged her feet to the stream by the Cercatore di Sangue's camp. She took off her clothes and stepped into bathe. She sat in the stream and looked at the sky. She jumped when she heard rustling. out jumped three rebel Cercatore di Sanguettes, female Cercatore di Sangue.
"Look at the human who seduced Earl D'Angelo." The first Cercatore di Sanguette hissed, her eyes blazed red.
"Smells good." The second one laughed. She lunged at her and Amadora fell back into the stream and the Cercatore di Sanguette bit her viciously. Amadora screamed in pain. D'Angelo heard her scream and stormed out to the stream.
Amadora struggled to get out of the Cercatore di Sanguette's grasp.
"Stop struggling!" The third Cercatore di Sanguette demanded, "We know your secret!"
"You're a double agent for the King! We heard your report! You better not tell D'Angelo's plan to the Geolians! The Cercatore di Sangue race will die!" The first Cercatore di Sanguette declared.
"What?" D'Angelo said emerging from the wooded path.
"Earl!" The three Cercatore di Sanguettes exclaimed and knelt in front of him.
"Amadora... Is it true? Are you betraying me?" D'Angelo asked with a shaking voice.
"No D'Angelo... no..." Amadora quietly sobbed.
"I trusted you. I loved you." D'Angelo whispered.
"D'Angelo, I still love you!"
"Lies! You don't love me! You fooled my heart just so you can finish me off! Admit it!"
Amadora sobbed speechless. D'Angelo stormed into the stream and yanked her up by her bare arm and dragged her through the camp naked. She cried and struggles as the Cercatore di Sangue stared. D'Angelo threw her out of the camp tears streaming from his eyes.
"Never come back." D'Angelo sobbed.
"D'ANGELO!!" She yelled as he walked away, "Please! I love you! I love you... I love you." She crawled to the forest still undressed and hid in a cave. She sat there for four days not eating or drinking or finding clothing. She sobbed the whole time. Then she heard neighing of royal horses and calls of Carmilla, Sienna, and Paola.
"Princess!" Sienna cried.
"Princess Amadora!" Paola called.
"Look in that cave over there!" Carmilla ordered. Sienna dismounted her horse and walked to Amadora's cave. She looked in to find a shaking, pale, drained, naked Princess Amadora.
"PRINCESS!" Sienna shrieked in horror. Paola and Carmilla rushed over and helped her up. Sienna draped blankets over her. Thy fed her and gave her water.
"What did the Cercatore di Sangue do to you?!" Carmilla bellowed extremely enraged.
"Nothing..." Amadora whispered, "Don't attack them, not until I say so."
"Yes Princess." Sienna said wrapping her arm around Amadora's shoulders.
"Now let me sleep. I'm tired." Amadora whispered as she crept into the tent next to the fire.
